Lisa Dickman

Before becoming a mom, Lisa earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling. At that time, she had no idea what to be when she “grew up,” but she knew that listening skills and empathy would be valuable. After discovering her mission in life through tidying her home based on the principles shared in The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo (KonMari), she became Missouri’s first Certified KonMari Consultant in October 2017.

 

This Mission puts a fire in her soul, helps her become the best version of herself, and is a vehicle for her to lift others to find their joy as well. It pulled her through grief when her daughter passed away at birth in 2017.

 

Lisa focuses her organizing business, Tidy Upgrade, on helping people joyfully connect to their mission though tidying up. She accepts in-person clients thoughout the greater St. Louis area, and gives virtual tidying lessons worldwide. She lives with her husband and four children, ages 2 to 12, in St. Louis in a house that sparks joy.

Ashley Prulliere Mindful Pilates and Wellness

Ashley Prulliere, owner of Mindful Pilates and Wellness, is passionate about helping women reclaim their bodies and find joy in movement! She is a physical therapist, a certified Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and a Pilates instructor. As a local mom who loves fitness, Ashley knows the powerful role exercise plays in managing mom stress, improving self-confidence, and living a healthy and full life without injury.


Ashley offers three carefully designed, energizing programs that are certain to help you move forward with your fitness goals. Which one is right for you?


Mom Strong: Core to Floor This program is an 8 week customized series that helps postpartum women (even decades after giving birth!) restore function in their core and pelvic floor. Whether you're dealing with pelvic floor issues (leaks with coughing/sneezing/laughing/jumping; prolapse <that heavy feeling you-know-where>; painful intercourse); diastasis recti ("mommy tummy"- the pooch that seems to never go away); SI joint instability or pain (wobbly, painful pelvis and hips); or low back pain, this program will help you tremendously. By addressing posture and alignment issues, incorporating focused and intentional breath work, and performing your customized series of corrective exercises, you will begin to rebuild your pelvic and core foundation and regain confidence.


Pilates Pilates is amazing for helping build your foundation further! Regular practice in Pilates can help increase your core strength and stability, increase flexibility and muscle strength, improve posture and balance, and increase your body awareness and confidence. By spending time tuning in to your body and breath as you practice Pilates, your body will learn healthy ways to move, align, and keep you safe when you're going about your daily tasks or more intense fitness routines, such as weight training, running, tennis, or HIIT. The training you give your body in Pilates is time well spent! Private sessions feature carefully selected exercises in a program customized to your limitations and fitness goals. Weekly group matwork sessions are offered Saturday mornings year-round.


MPW: FIT This is Mindful Pilates and Wellness's signature fitness program for moms who like to work out (hard!), enjoy connecting with other moms, and value the role fitness plays in their mental and physical wellness. While this program can be arranged as a private session, it is offered as a monthly group membership, and has a wonderful following of strong, motivated women. There's a private Facebook group for support, exercise tips, and workout videos. Exercises are offered to meet the needs of beginners and advanced movers, and low-impact modifications are also offered. This is a fun, dedicated group of moms who love to sweat!


Sessions for each of these 3 programs can be scheduled privately year round. Group programming for Mom Strong: Core to Floor is offered several times throughout the year. Group Pilates matwork classes are offered on Saturdays. MPW: FIT is offered monthly and is ongoing.
